This is achieved through machine polishing with specialized compounds and pads to refine the paint and bring back its clarity and shine.

The level of paint correction required depends on the severity of the imperfections. A single-stage correction removes light swirl marks and oxidation, improving the gloss but not addressing deep scratches. A two-stage correction involves a cutting compound to eliminate moderate defects, followed by a polishing step for refinement. Multi-stage correction is the most intensive process, addressing heavy defects with multiple passes using different compounds and pads.
